With registration number 1599, the Combined Academy of Technical Education (CATE) Raipur was founded in 2002. Under the competent leadership of education-driven management, The CATE-run Royal College of Pharmacy is a specialized institution solely focused on pharmaceuticals education.

With 650+ overall enrolled students, the college currently offers Diploma in pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy, Masters in Pharmacy and Doctoral programs. The college has highly skilled faculty members and well-built infrastructure facilities.

Royal College of Pharmacy is affiliated by Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai Chhattisgarh. It is also recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Chhattisgarh and approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

The college campus has many amenities including smart class rooms, various subject specific labs, a pilot plant, a computer lab, an animal house, a machine room, a central instrument lab, a central library and a seminar hall.
